The Importance of Staying Consistent

Are you having a hard time posting and creating content consistently?

Do you feel you can’t find the inspiration or the time to be writing content let alone consistently scheduling the content and engaging with your audience?

Welcome to owning your own business.

I struggled for a long time with creating content and posting consistently on social media and utilizing my email list because I was trying to juggle too many things in my own business as well as with my clients that it just never felt possible to create loads of content ahead of time to be posting Every. Single. Day. The struggle is real.

That’s how I felt before I learned how to prioritize and had the guts to ask for help.

Now I have systems in place that help me create content like a breeze and I can now schedule weeks ahead of time so I’m not stressing about it. I can now do the same for my clients.

Let’s take a look at how you too can utilize the art of consistency and know when it’s time to outsource.

How much time do you spend online these days?

I’m sure you’re ashamed to admit it, but just think – you aren’t the only one.

Your clients are spending just as much time online as you are. Think about it, you are reading this post right now and your next client could be doing the same.

How are you going to connect with them?

First, you need to be visible and consistent. You can’t be lurking in the shadows on social media and not engaging with other people’s posts or posting content yourself. You have to do #allthethings to create a reputable brand name. And you don’t have to only be visible on social media. There’s podcasts, email marketing, blogging, and so much more!

Email you say? Let’s take a quick look at the importance of email marketing.

Consistent email marketing is important for your sales for a variety of reasons, and the most important thing is to build the relationship because those relationships will lead to real results!

While you obviously understand what you are offering your clients, your clients might still be a little lost and confused by your message and why they should utilize your services. Email marketing is a great opportunity to educate your potential clients by creating useful and helpful information to be sent directly to their inbox in a more personal way.

Not only is email marketing inexpensive, but it can also boost sales! You can offer coupons and specials, or extra incentives for your clients to purchase your services in a creative and consistent way.

Let’s say you send out an email at the same time every Thursday, people are going to start expecting that from you and therefore you’re creating brand awareness. If you only send an email once or twice a year, people aren’t going to remember you and are less likely to open your email.

Emailing consistently deepens the relationship between you and your potential clients. They get to know you, what you offer, and how you can help them. And all of this creates Trust and Fulfills Expectations.

If you outsource, how can you keep your brand consistent?

As an online entrepreneur, I can’t express enough how important brand consistency and imaging is when marketing ourselves online through social media, email marketing, and even on our websites.

Whether it’s via words, design, offerings or perspective. Your brand should build awareness and develop trust and loyalty with your potential and current clients.

So when creating content, you must approach it with your brand in mind. A few tips when creating content to stay consistent is by:

  1. Always incorporating your logo in every graphic or design you create.
  2. Select to create content around the right topics for your business that will be informative for your potential clients.
  3. Bring offline marketing efforts to your online marketing needs by engaging and networking with people in Facebook Groups or connecting with accounts that are similar to your business.
  4. And the most important: Keep your brand’s tone and personality consistent across channels by creating a storyboard with buzzwords, goals, and an overall outline of your brand’s voice.

So what can you do to keep your brand consistent if you outsource?

A few ways to help your OBM keep your brand consistent is by providing keywords, brand messaging, logos, and key topics so they can create the right content to keep your brand consistent! The more information the better!

But you can also keep in mind, you could create the content yourself and let them handle the scheduling and engaging online. That alone will take loads of stress off your plate and free up your time to focus on other things for your business.

I know how overwhelming it can be to realize that you must do some of these tasks every day. Posting, scheduling, commenting, and engaging can take up hours of our day. And many of us just don’t have that kind of time to spend.

Having someone to outsource these tasks to can be a life-changing choice. Think about it. Not having to create the content, post the content, and engage with people on social media can free up so much of your time so you can focus on other things in your business like working with your clients and living the life you oh, so deserve as an entrepreneur.

You wouldn’t even have to lift a finger and you can have potential clients messaging you needing your services because they found you on social media!
